Ingredients:
- Eggs 4 Nos
- Cashewnuts 4
- Peppercorns 4
- Shahi jeera 1 tbsp
- Anise 1 tsp
- Bayleaf 1
- Onion 1 No
- Green Chillies 2 Nos
- Tomato 1 No
- Mint leaves 1 bunch
- Coriander leaves 1 bunch
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Curd 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Rice 2 cups
Instructions:
- Make biryani powder by grinding together shahi jeera, cumin seeds, anise, bay leaf, peppercorns, cashew nuts.
- Fry onions, green chilies and add tomatoes and cook for 10 – 15 minutes on low flame.
- Add the biryani powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and chili powder and mix well.
- Add curd and mix the spices well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add soaked rice and pressure cook until the rice is cooked.
- Remove the lid and add boiled eggs and serve with raita.
